Testimonal:
I'm
very impressed with the sounds from Reasonbanks.com.
The samples are recorded very well, retaining
the big sound of real analog synthesizers.
The programming is excellent too. For example,
the way that layered patches are broken
down into elements so as to retain their
playability is outstanding.
In the past, I've never really liked faux
analog sounds on samplers - they never seemed
to work. Either the sound was static, and
unresponsive to my playing, or the sound
of the filters in the sampler could not
compete with the real thing. Now that samplers
(such as the NN-XT) finally have decent
sounding filters, the time has come to revisit
the whole idea. You guys are right on time!
I can praise the specific techniques of
your good work, but even more important,
your taste is excellent. I find many of
the sounds to be very usable, and very responsive.
I appreciate sounds that change based on
the player. We may all own the same drum
loops some day, but if a patch sounds "like
me" when I play it, then it can be
a tool to help make my work unique.
Thanks again guys, for building the best
faux analog for samplers I've ever enjoyed.

Rewiew from REMIX MAGAZINE (Januar 2005)
'...The
sampling is impeccable and the programming
top-notch throughout, with velocity splitting,
alternate and release triggering (for randomly
varied sounds), mod wheel and aftertouch
all put to good use. Detailed, tempo-synched
LFOs make the arp and pad multisamples come
to life and sound burblingly PPG-authentic.
Basses are tight and right on the money
while pads and atmospheres are pure, silky
Waldorf heaven. I had pleasure finding room
for Orange2 in everything from dry German-style
techno and minimalist electro to fuller
ambient and pop material. In short, this
is an exquisite collection of signature
sounds...'
